Welcome to the website of the European Federation of Bottled Waters

The European Federation of Bottled Waters (EFBW) is the voice of the bottled water industry, dedicated to promoting natural mineral water, spring water and other types of bottled waters at EU and international level.


A non-profit international trade association based in Brussels, the Federation has a membership base comprising national associations, leading companies and specialised scientific bodies, collectively representing more than 600 producers of bottled water across Europe.


EFBW works on behalf of its membership to address key issues affecting the bottled water sector and to promote  the specificities of  naturally sourced water.

The Federation meets regularly with international and European institutions which regulate bottled water in order to promote high quality standards within the industry and to provide information on current issues.


The Federation is an active member of FoodDrinkEurope which represents the European food and drink industry, and of ICBWA, the International Council of Bottled Waters Associations.
